Denim Mini Come Back

As you may know mini skirts and me are like oil and water. We just don't quite mix well mostly due to my cellulite laden leg complexity. Something I should probably seriously consider doing something about, but that's for another day. Getting back to me and the mini skirt... the summer holiday spirit coaxed me into whipping out my denim mini from over 10 years ago and braving my cellulite to the world. Thankfully for me, I still just about managed to squeeze myself into them! To give the old mini an update, I paired it with a black slogan t-shirt, long white oversized vest, yellow coloured canvas tote, gladiator sandals and a pair of 60 inspired sunnies.

Jungle Fever

Since the premiere of the The Jungle Book movie last month, there has been the launch of the Kenzo Jungle Book collection plus a beautiful new collection from Vuitton called Tropical Journey taking inspiration from the jungle. It thus comes as no surprise that I caught Jungle Fever too! My jungle inspired look consists of a tropical green and black jumpsuit paired with simple black sandals for an effortless casual dressed down look.

Braving Shorts

Anyone who knows me knows I have a phobia for wearing shorts thanks to my wonderful cellulite ridden untoned thighs, so its a big surprise that the shorts came out of my wardrobe today. And to be honest, I loved wearing this look! Casual, comfy and fun!

How to Find That Piece You Saw And Loved

Have you ever found something that someone is wearing amazing and wanted to find the same thing or something similar that fits your budget and be able to buy it? If you're anything like me, you'll start to obsess over the item, looking for it everywhere online and offline. Clearly the downside of being a die hard fashion lover. Thankfully, the clever peeps at Seezona have built a nifty online platform that allows you to find what you're looking for with visual search, find similar items that fit your budget and buy.

So how does it work? Simply upload a photo of what you're looking for, select the category, price range and start your research. Quite cool right?

The downside? Well, you can't search for shoes or accessories. A big problem for me personally considering I'm bag and shoe obsessed. Let's hope the folks at Seezona can change that soon.

Next time you're looking for something give it a try and let me know what you think. The visual search isn't perfect but it's definitely the future of online shopping.

Explorer Chic

Even if you're out exploring, who said you can't be stylish? I beg to differ. Keeping it simple with a plain white tee and jeans paired up with statement sunnies, a fun necklace and a big hat! Not only was I super comfy but the outfit was practical allowing me to respectfully enter the pagodas and of course climb up a few to enjoy the beauty of Bagan (Myanmar).

Hermes: The 12 Rooms of Wanders

As some of you may know, I'm a self confessed bagaholic! To me the Hermes Birkin is the the queen of all bags. So what makes me give this bag royalty status? And no its got nothing to do with the fact that the bag has been adopted as a status symbol for many. It has everything to do with quality of leather, craftsmanship, attention to detail and sheer perfection. It's hence no surprise that I found myself drawn like a magnet to the Leather Forever exhibition by Hermes.

The exhibition show cases the mastery of leather, craftsmanship and heritage of the brand through a series of 12 little room of wanders. My favourite rooms were the following:

Room 1 & 2: Savoire - Faire

Get a chance to touch and feel the various types of leather and see some of the renowned pieces from the house of Hermes.

Room 4: The Horse, The First Client

A beautiful look into how Hermes started with the horse as it's first client. A display of saddles, riding equipment and the oldest bag created by Hermes the Haut a courroies bag in 1892. The bag was created specifically for riders in mind to carry their riding equipment.

Room 9: Variations on kelly and Birkin

A magnificent display of the two legendary bags in various colours and sizes. It's hard not to want a few pieces!

Room 12: Star Bags

Last but definitely not least, this is by far the most incredible room and my favourite. From the moment you step in, you feel as if you have been transported to a magical garden with five unique Kellydoll inspired bags placed on swings. Each bag has been created in honour of Singapore. One bag for each decade. Each piece a work of art.

There's just a few days left before the exhibition ends.

Fashion Phone Game: Top 9 iPhone 6 cases

I use my phone 24/7 and when I don't have it I feel naked! It's my go to for everything and an intergral part of my everday life. So I guess it's not too surprising to have found myself obssessively searching for the perfect case to replace my much beloved worn out Lanvin one. Needless to say the search was painful, tedious and long! Many hours were spent trolling on what felt like a million and one e-commerce sites. On the bright side, I did manage to narrow it down to 9 of my favourite cases. Here they are:

Now that you've seen them all. Which one would you go for to up your fashion phone game? Leave a comment below and let me know your pick.

Personally, I am loving the Fendi Karlito Case. Its beautiful, fun and elegant BUT at that price I don't even think Santa would wanna get it for me for Xmas! Not to mention that fox fur is not the most practical material to be on a phone you use everday. So that leaves it to be a toss up between the Red Vuitton Folio Case and the Stella McCartney Medallion Case in Rosewood. Tough desicions of a fashion loving tech junkie.
